About me

Hi, I’m Sämi.

My passion for film started early. At 11, I attended my first video camp and began creating short films. At just 12, I worked as Director of Photography on my first feature film, which was screened in cinemas and festivals across Switzerland. Through this project, I met people who are now well known in the industry and close friends.

Over the following years, I worked on numerous short films as a first and second assistant camera. At 16, I joined the Swiss production company Black Frame, where I spent over six years working as a cameraman and editor on major events and international projects in countries including South Africa, Belgium, and Senegal.

Today, I work as a freelance editor, videographer, and camera assistant.
